Your teeth may feel tight; your speech may sound slightly different and wearing them for most of the day may take a while to get used to. None of these are necessarily a bad sign. The aligners are placed over your teeth so your tongue will need to adapt to the reduced space in your mouth. There&#8217;s a slight lisp or pronunciation change that some people see when they first put them on. This can be particularly noticeable when speaking quickly or saying certain sounds. Fortunately, talking is one of the simplest ways to adjust your mouth. Don&#8217;t avoid speaking about things because you are afraid of how you sound.
